What a lovely little wok!

For £21.99 (at the time of writing), you’ll get a great little wok that’s useful and the size is just perfect for me.It’s lightweight and has a nice depth, and most importantly, the sturdy wooden handle is nice and firm to hold. The size is just right for our family of 4. It is perfect for stir frying noodles, rice, vegetables etc. It can also be used to steam buns and vegetables using a steam rack. It’s also great for deep frying, and with its deep depth meaning I can even cook curry, or soup in this wok. It’s very easy to clean, a quick rinse in warm soapy water, and you are done.Overall, I love this wok. I can't find any faults so far. It has made cooking simple and fast. An easy recommendation from me.

A sturdy non stick traditional Wok

First thing I noticed with this Carbon Steel Non Stick Wok is that it is very solid in its construction, a bit heavier than its appearance suggests. The weight is ideal to provide good heat transfer if using on solid plate or a ceramic cooking surface. The wooden handle is very securely attached to the Wok by two large rivets so no screws to work loose over time. The handle itself is comfortable to use and has a substantial ring for hanging the wok incorporated into the design. It has been a pleasure to cook with, it looks traditional and really inspires me with a bit of oriental creative flair. I like to cook using one pan for a range of dishes and this has worked a treat due to the distribution characteristics of heat up the sides, allowing me to keep some of the ingredients pushed up the side while cooking others a bit more intensively on the flat bottom surface.I found it easy to cook with a minimal amount of oil and maintain a temperature which did not make the oil spit everywhere. It heats quickly and the non stick coating works well. I found that cleaning after use is very easy using a damp cloth with a very small amount of washing up liquid. For the current price £21.99 I think it is a good buy for a nicely constructed non stick Wok which should last for years. Recommended.

A smaller size wok

Not too big nor heavy, a wok for two portions maybe?Doesn’t take over the hob.Chunky wooden handle riveted to the base .None stick coated but oil before use.Reasonably sized flat base holds steady on our gas ring s.
